It’s the end of April and yet as warm as it’s been around here lately it feels more like June or July. I’ve put away the winter sweaters and traded them out for summer dresses on the weekend. Along with the changing of the season and the inevitable cleaning, comes the start of something new.

For me that’s moving on from book two in the Mantle of the Gods Series to new projects and the notes for the third novel. For the Trinity it means discussing future plans for the site. But before we get into the new too far, let’s close out the current.

With April winding down I bring you the conclusion of Serenity Rising and I’ve posted the details for the fourth installment of the shorts, The Assignment.  Look for it in June.

Current Projects:

At the moment I am working on the rest of the content for the next Trinity Newsletter as we prepare for Ancient City. I’ve begun exploring other pieces to post as new content for this page once I finish up The Assignment. There maybe two if I’m feeling ambitious. I’ve got a couple more script writing formats to finish out for Writer’s Desk content before we move onto the next topic.

I’m finishing the cover art for The Good, The Bad, and The Chronically Stupid. This will be my first E-book to publish and will contain additional scenes for those who have read it. Further information to come on that.

From what I understand the Trinity has received several submissions for the horror anthology, Shadows of the Mind and we are very excited about that. There is still time to add to it if you like as the deadline for it is August 1st. Beyond the Anthology, the Newsletter, and preparations for Ancient City the Trinity is planning a meet to discuss our future endeavors for the site.

Don’t worry we’re not going anywhere we’re actually looking to expand.

While I have no completed projects to report at this time I can assure you we are all hard at work on various projects and you can expect more great stuff from us as we go into the summer.

Well, its the middle of the month and that means it’s time for more Writer’s Desk content. We’re expanding our information on scripting format further for you. We hope you find it useful.

Let’s see, I’ve got the written content for several e-books completed at this time and am in the prossess of putting together covers for two.   The post for Serenity Rising will be completed this month and the final piece, The Assignment, will begin posting in May.

I’m amazed that the end of March is fast aproaching. 2012 seems to just be running along at a rapid pace. The end of the month post goes up today and marks the start of the second half of the Mantle of the Gods shorts. I am posting the first four chapters of Serenity Rising this time. It is the third part of the four part series I set out to write to aquaint my readers with characters and concepts within the series.

COMPLETED PROJECTS!

For those of you who may have missed my Facebook update I have completed the first draft for book two in the Mantle of the Gods sereis and am very excited as I feel I’ve got enough ready to begin formating it for E-book. I didn’t want to post the first one and you not see the second for years to come. With the first draft done I am ready to take the steps to begin selling the first novel.

I have also prepared two additional script formats for posting on the Writer’s Desk look for them in the months to come.

Future Projects

With the second book in editing phase I will begin to review previous pieces to turn them into e-books. Some works being considered are Delfania’s Tears, The Good, The Bad and The Cronicahlly Stupid to start. If they do translate to e-book additional content will be added. I also will begin working on my article for the next newsletter and a sci-fi short as well. In addition to these things I will begin development for a new short piece to post on the site once the last of the Mantle shorts posts.

I have a lot to do and am looking forward to digging in and getting it done.

Today marks the first of several new posts to be added to the Writer’s Desk. The content included is the beginning of a section on script writing formats. This month is for Screen Play Writing. The next section to follow will be on SitCom with more to follow.

It was always my intent for the writers desk to include more than just fiction. We’re begining to add the scripting portion and in the future we’ll add other things as well,non-fition, article writing, and tech writing to name a few. If you’d like to see a specific subject or format looked at please let us know.

In regard to my personal work the first draft of book two for the Mantle of the Gods series is nearly complete. When it is done I will begin formating some of my older work and adding additional content as I prepare to release them as e-books. More details on that to come. Look for the first four chapters of the new Mantle of the Gods short Serenity Rising to post at the end of the month.

The Trinity is meeting this week to discuss future plans for the web site and the updates for the next several months. We look forward to bringing you new things and more information about thing that are important to you our readers and our fellow writers.

Wow its the end of February already. Hard to believe it feels like the month just flew by. I’ve been hard at work on the second book in the Mantle of the Gods series and am pleased to say it is nearly done.

Current Projects

Besides book two I am also working on new content for the Writer’s Desk. Expect to see new sections in the formatting portion of the desk in the months ahead. The first to come online will be screen play scripting format. With sections on Sitcom script and One Hour Episodic Drama to follow soon after.

I will begin work on editing and revising various pieces currently posted or in their final draft with the intent to release them as e-books later in the year.

Also I have begun to translate some of my writing to audio drama script format. I hope to add this new format to the site at some point in 2012.

Completed projects!

I have finished with the first draft of the Assignment part four of the short stories for the Mantle of the Gods series.

The final section for The Good The Bad and The Chronically Stupid is posting today. It is titled The Unmasking be sure to take a look. A new chapter for Lisa and my joint project Spark of Vengance is also posting today check it out and please let us know what you think. The trinity always welcomes feeedback.

Its the start of a New Year and I have high hopes for things to come. First let me state that there are changes in the wind for this page. I am in the process of changing my main writing format from novel to script. After some thinking during our holiday break I decided that the work I was doing lends it self better to either film or audio so I will be working to make that change.

What does that mean for my page? For now nothing, I will continue to post stories that I have already begun in short story form. As promised you will get to see part three for the Mantle of the Gods series it will be titled Serenity Rising look for it later this year. I will finish out The Good the Bad and The Chronically Stupid. Part two is titled The Intervention and it is posting today 1/28/2012. The third piece will post later next month. Once Serenity Rising is up I will give you the fourth and final part of the Mantle of the Gods shorts titled The Assignment.

Lisa and I will continue to collaborate on our stories and you will see additional pieces added to that work as well. Today marks the start of Spark of Vengeance the intro story for our series with the working title Coins of Fate. I will also continue to endeavor to build the Writer’s Desk for you this year. I am planning to add additional information on format styles look for details on scripting in the next few months.

Tasks Complete!

I have completed the revision phase for the Angel and the Hunter. : )

The horror piece I mentioned last year is done  but as it is too long for the anthology it was intended for I am not sure what will become of it.

Current Projects

I will begin the task of editing the Angel and the Hunter this year. I am about half way into my first draft of the second book in the Mantle of the Gods series and intend to finish it.  I am editing a fairy tale piece for a future Trinity Gateways project and have plans to expand it further into a full novel as an individual piece as well.

Once my current projects for the site are done I have plans to bring new ones on as well. So this does not mean that the stories are going away it just means that in the future there may be additional formats posted besides shorts. I am looking forward to where this change will take me and I hope you will join me on my journey.

Beyond what is posting I thought I’d update you on my other current projects. I am continuing work on the first draft for the third piece in the Mantle of the Gods shorts Serenity Rising.

Revision of the Angel and the Hunter continues to move forward at a good pace I am near the end of the original text and in the process of adding some new scenes. I am well on my way with second book in the Mantle of the Gods series first draft. I have made my first complete read through for the horror story and will soon begin the process of editing the piece.
